Hello there!  My name is Jim Cowart.  I am fascinated by the workings of government, culture, philosophy, economics & relationships – and how they fuse together to form the world as we know it.

I am:

• - an avid reader

• - a Titans fan
• - someone who secretly wishes I could climb inside the LEM (Lunar Lander) that currently sits in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum…
• - deeply frustrated with what I believe to be a flawed and broken government in Washington, D.C., and I unreservedly put the blame on both major parties, but ultimately at the feet of the American voter (I am equally culpable) for electing them
• - a believer in the principles of classical liberalism (what many today think of as ‘conservatism’)
• - a staunch anti-Progressive. Progressivism is a cancer destroying our nation.
• - a devout Christian who believes in a holistic, non-compartmentalized Christianity.
• - both a Presbyterian and Evangelical who desires to see evangelical Christianity emerge out of its current anti-intellectualism.
• - a believer that absolutes do exist.
• - a lover of tea – especially Assam black tea and Darjeeling.
